Live, Laugh, Love - Loach Style: February 2012

Well it was another wonderful trip to the Caribbean for us! This time we braved it on our own and survived pretty well! We found a great deal on airfare and booked a last minute trip to Hilton Rose Hall in Jamaica. The kids were amazing travelers and had a great time at the resort. They even managed to stay up past their bedtimes and enjoy the shows. Nicholas loved running around with the big kids at night. And they both loved the pool and water slides. Nicholas is finally learning to love the beach too! We had a room on the second floor overlooking the pool and beach with a king size bed. There was a chaise lounge in the room that opened into a twin bed but we instead pushed it up to the bed to give Nicholas his own little sleeping area that we didn't have to worry about him rolling out. We had Jason in a crib on the other side of the bed so all four of us slept right in a row.......which is tough when everyone wakes each other up all night! Who ever woke up first would squeal with delight so see everyone else laying next to them and would in turn wake everyone up for the day. So there was definitely a lack of sleep going on! We enjoyed our second floor room and we could jump our patio onto the second floor terrace bar area to grab drinks to enjoy back on our patio while the kids slept. We've learned to take the video monitor and noise machine so we can keep an eye on the kiddies much easier :) Great trip all around and very much needed break from the daily routine!!
