Videos from the Bahamas

One of our many indoor activities included watching the races of the remote controlled cars. Nicholas was such a good helper in turning over the flipped cars on the track that the worked gave him a free candy.....made of pure sugar!! Luckily we cut it in half and both boys got to enjoy it :) The boys' dancing cracks me up on every trip! Here they are tearing it up in the teens' dance club! This is why I had to have the stuffed ray!!

How we spent our big winnings

Since the moment we got to Atlantis, I could not stop talking about the huge manta ray stuffed animal they had in one of the shops. Sure it was rediculouly priced and so not needed but I couldn't stop thinking about it! On our last night in the rain soaked Bahamas, Dan and I went to the casino. We agreed if we won big we would buy the ray. Well after many drinks and Dan hitting it big on the roullette table, the ray was ours! After bringing so many snacks and diapers, there was plenty of room to get it home and the kids are loving it so much it has a permanent home in our family room :) There's no better seat in the house right now for watching Dora or Kung Fu Panda!

Well the weather was horrible with monsoon rains but it was certainly an experience! The boys were both brave enough to kiss and hug the dolphins, even when they were freezing :( Helps that we were able to get the encounter completely for free too!

Boo-hoo on the Bahamas

Our trip to the Bahamas was a bit of a bust. Sure we had fun but such a bummer that we never saw even a single ray of sunshine! It's a tough vacation when you rush out to the pool because it's only drizzling out :( We certainly made the best of it though. Here's how we spent our time............inside!

We took many strolls thru the indoor aquarium......

we did spend some time playing in the rain.....

we had fun throwing coins in the fountains....especially when Christopher would keep pulling them back out for us to throw again...and again....and again

we even played shooting video games.....such boy boys!
