I called it!

Since the little guy was born, I have been saying that I am trying to keep Nicholas as healthy as possible since I was convinced he would get sick as soon as he started daycare. Well.... here we are, one week into daycare and he already has his first cold :( Poor little guy - his nose is so congested. We went to the doctor today and luckily his lungs and ears are clear and he has had no fever. Unfortunately there's nothing we can give him for the congestion so we just have to wait it out. They'll be a lot of sleeping in the bouncer and on Daddy's chest this week. We propped up his mattress today so hopefully that will help him sleep better in his own bed.

We did get an official weight check for 14 weeks old now - 16 lbs, 12.5 oz!!

3 months old :)

We celebrated our 3 month birthday this week! Our new accomplishments are being able to roll over from belly to back and doing a whole lot more talking!! We also started daycare this week! Luckily Mommy was the only one in tears when heading off for the first day. Things seem to be going well so far. He's eating and sleeping well and seems happy every time Dan pops in to visit. I haven't gone to check on him yet because if I go, I won't be able to leave without him :) Hopefully this week I'll have a bit more will power!

No doctors appt this month so we'll have no official stats but we're guessing ~16lbs and ~25" long. I posted our usual picture with a sign and then I got these cute stickies from Dan's cousin Bethany that I had to try out. So now it will be two pics per month :)

The 6 days of Halloween....

Yeah it's supposed to be the 12 days of Christmas but since it's only October, we'll celebrate Halloween with 6 days of cute outfits. A special thanks to Leighann, Scott and Abby for the super adorable purple coat with skulls and cross bones. And of course thanks to the Target $1 bin.... so many cute items for cheap money. Enjoy!! And Happy Halloween to all!!

Don't mind the PJ's under the coat... after 5 outfit changes for the day I gave up and hoped the changing him into his PJ's early would break the trend.

And one of Mom and Dad at their last adults only Halloween party. No more margaritas and skull vodka next year.... just bobbing for apples and cider donuts. Hahaha - who are we kidding!? Margaritas AND cider donuts = YUM!!

Nicholas' Baptism - 10/18/09

We Had Nicholas' baptism this past weekend at St Mary of the Hills in Boylston. Nicholas did such a great job! He only cried a little when they dunked him in the holy water. Don't worry - they only dunked him waste high :) Surprisingly, the entire ceremony was done around the holy water bath and we only went up to the alter for a 'photo - op'. Actually, other than saying the Our Father, you would really never know it was a catholic ceremony. If I can ever figure out how to add video to this site I will upload the ceremony. We had a little get together afterwards back at house to relax and eat. Thanks to all that attended!!
